  6. Tree UI Prototype Tree UI Prototype — Last one I promise. I decided to continue playing with this idea, and furthermore make a workable prototype in the browser to see how it felt to actually use. To me, the lines offer a nice visual distinction of what level i'm on, especially with long trees (25+ nodes). Check out the live prototype here: http://bit.ly/1mTJiim Thoughts?   7. Back to the whiteboard with Mete.rs Back to the whiteboard with Mete.rs — I am nixing the iOS app and making a 180 degree turn with a completely new direction for Meters and a refresh on the look. Can't wait to launch this site in 2013! Stay tuned for more details.
  8. Cleaning up the call-to-action Cleaning up the call-to-action — Ended up deciding to fill the CTA so it stands out a bit more at the end of pages. It coincides with the color fill styles of my work page. I also made some typography decisions, headings are Avenir Next Rounded, and body text will be Avenir Next. The two pair really nicely and have the soft, friendly approach that I was looking for.

Mark is based on the name obviously, so far i'm keeping it pretty simple. Thoughts? I made this in the morning before breakfast, is that why the flow lines turned out looking like bacon? Maybe.

  24. Why do routers stink? Part Deux Why do routers stink? Part Deux — Another idea around finding ways to break down a complex concept (VLAN tagging) into a simple interface. Here we moved towards keeping all of the pieces of a physical port contained together. Still a lot of work to go.
